Christian Faith

The word of God well understood and religiously obeyed is the shortest route to spiritual perfection. We must not select a few favourite passages to the exclusion of others. Nothing less than the whole Bible can make a whole Christian. True faith requires that we believe everything God has said about Himself. But also that we believe everything He said about us. Until we believe we are as bad as God says we are, we can never believe that He will do for us what He says He will do. Luke 9:23-24 . Then he said to them all; if anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. Galatians 5:24. You can not belong to Christ Jesus unless you crucify all self indulgent passion and desire.

Spread of the church in the region

GFACC members from Zimbabwe came to South Africa to seek green pastures, they then started worshiping as a small group and they were joining other churches for Sunday worshiping. When they left Zimbabwe they had instructions from God through the first Apostle to come to South Africa and open the church and start preaching the gospel. In 1986 The General Foundation started their first church in Soweto Meadowlands under supervision of Denis Khumalo. That is where the concentration of GFACC started from Zone 10 Meadowlands at Mahlobo primary school, thereafter Naledi Branch followed after few other Pastors from Zimbabwe came to join other brothers and they came strongly to open the third Branch at Wood-mead closer to Alexandra Township and finally Mfolo Branch was planted. Thereafter the church started growing faster as more and more brothers came to join the church until where it is today.
Currently the region has officially registered 16 branches which are managed by the regional council govrned by Rev. C. Ncube. The council consist sub strctures, womens league, mens league, and youth league for easy run of the region. For more information as to which branch is close to you for worshiping please contact the regional secretary. contact deatils at the footer of this page
